Multiple Trimble ID logins required daily

If a Trimble program requires a login to a Trimble ID (TID) multiple times per day, the most probable cause is browser settings. TID information is retained in the user’s cookies in the default browser. If the browser deletes the cookies upon exit, then the next time the program verifies identity and licenses, another TID login is required.

 

The resolution for this is browser specific and may be controlled by corporate policy. Search within the default browser help documentation or consult with your corporate technical team to determine which steps will adjust the frequency with which browser cookies are deleted.

 

Once the browser settings have been resolved, be sure to check the box at sign in for the TID to be remembered. This should prevent another request on that PC for up to 30 days.
