Non-Workshared Cloud Models in StabiBASE
Not version-specific
Stabicad
Definition A "Cloud Model for Revit" is a file saved to the cloud without Worksharing enabled. StabiBASE handles these differently than Workshared Central Models.
Limitations
• Registration: It is not possible to register non-workshared cloud projects in StabiBASE.
• Functionality: Features dependent on StabiBASE registration (Manage Sheets, Titleblock Updates, Publishing) are disabled for these files.
Behavior by Version
• Stabicad 25.08 and higher: You can open and model in non-workshared projects without interruption. The software detects the project type and suppresses connection errors.
• Versions prior to 25.08: Opening these models may trigger frequent error reports because Stabicad attempts to locate a project registration that does not exist.
Recommendation If you require full StabiBASE functionality, you must convert the project to a Workshared model. See the article: Troubleshooting: Enabling Full Functionality for Non-Workshared Models.
