Quick select drawing objects based on object information.

Subject:
How to select elements based on certain object properties such as color, layer, or object type. 

example:

• How to copy elements from a certain layer to a new drawing. 
• How can I change all yellow objects from color yellow to color blue?

Solution:
The QSELECT function can be used for this.  

Example: 
How to copy elements from a certain layer to a new drawing. 

Steps: 

1. Use command QSELECT <enter> 
2. Select the following options to select everything from a certain layer

• Entity Type = 'Multiple' 
• Properties = 'Layer 
• Operator = '= Equal 
• Value = the desired layer. 
• How to apply = Include in new selection set 

3. Then click on OK button. The selection has been made. Use the COPY command to copy the selected objects.
