SQL Unknown error (0xe0000235)

Issue:

Received error when installing SQL: TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server 2022 Setup

Also, the instance will hang during removal via Apps / Features.

Known Solution:

1. Disable Bitlocker on C drive
2. Attempt manual install of SQL 2025.

If this is not successful, or if the PC does not meet the requirements for SQL 2025, it may be necessary to reset the PC and install again after disabling Bitlocker.

Bitlocker can be reactivated after the installation and migration (if applicable) is completed.
