Problem:

When you open Stabibase, the following error appears in %AppData%\Roaming\Stabiplan\Log\MEPLicensing.log: Error occurred while acquiring Current User from Trimble ID
System.Exception: Unable to validate token ---> System.Exception: Token is issued in the future
This indicates that your computer clock is ahead of the Trimble ID server time, preventing token validation.

Solution:

  1. Open an elevated Command Prompt (administrator mode) using one of these methods:
    • Method A – Start menu:
    a. Click the Windows Start button and type cmd.
    b. When “Command Prompt” appears in the search results, right-click it and choose Run as administrator.
    • Method B – Run dialog:
    a. Press Win + R to open the Run dialog.
    b. Type cmd and then press Ctrl + Shift + Enter.
  2. In the administrator Command Prompt window, enter the following command and press Enter:
    w32tm /config /manualpeerlist:"time.windows.com" /syncfromflags:manual /reliable:yes /update
  3. After configuration completes, enter and run:
    w32tm /resync
  4. Close the Command Prompt and restart Stabibase. Your PC clock will now match the NTP server and the error should be resolved.
