Add a Trimble ID to your License Management Portal Account (LMP)

  1. Surf to the License Management Portal
  2. Logon with LMP Admin Trimble ID credentials.
  3. Click Users in the blue area to the left.

  4. Click Add Users at the top-right of the page.

  5. Select New User in the drop-down list.

  6. Enter the New User's Trimble ID (TID) email address that was created in the steps above and click in the First Name blank. The First Name and Last Name should fill in automatically if the TID email address was entered properly. Select No or Yes next to "Is Admin?". Selecting Yes will give the user Admin access to the LMP website ONLY. This does not give them Admin privileges in the software that you will give them access to. Admin privileges should only be given to users that will be modifying the LMP users and/or licenses.

  7. Click Add.
  8. The user will now be available to be added to a Pool or a Subscription License. To do this, follow the steps that can be found in the LMP Article here - License Management Portal User Guide.
    1. Setup a Pool if there are Perpetual Licenses.
    2. Add the user(s) to a Pool or assign a Subscription License to the user(s).
