Troubleshooting: Enabling Full Functionality for Non-Workshared Models
-
Download and rename
• In ACC/BIM 360 Document Management (web), download the RVT file and rename it (for example, ProjectName_Workshared.rvt). -
Enable worksharing locally
• Open the renamed file in Revit. In the Open dialog, check “Audit” and click Open.
• Switch to the Collaborate ribbon → Collaborate → Within your network.
• Choose a local folder (for example, %UserProfile%\Documents\Revit\Projects), click Save.
• In the Collaborate dialog, set up worksharing and click OK. -
Create a new Central model in BIM 360
• Close the file. Reopen that same local file in Revit, checking “Detach from Central” before you click Open.
• On the Collaborate ribbon → Collaborate → In BIM 360 Document Management.
• Browse to the desired BIM 360 project folder, click Initiate to publish a new Central model.
• Once upload completes, synchronize and close Revit. -
Register the Central model in StabiBASE
• Open Revit and load the model from BIM 360 (use the BIM 360 button on the Open dialog).
• Go to the StabiTOOLS ribbon → Register central model in StabiBASE.
• Select or create the corresponding A360 HUB and confirm.
Important
• Always open and edit the model in Revit; do not open it directly in StabiBASE.
• After editing, use “Synchronize with Central” to push changes back to BIM 360.
