Adjust meter readings using the standard method.

1. From the Programs menu of Equipment Management, double-click on the EM Equipment icon.
This opens the EM Equipment form.
2. Select File > Adjust Meter Readings. This opens the EM Meter Reading Adjustment form.

3. Enter the equipment for which adjust meter readings in the Equipment field.
4. In the Select Meter Reading Type section, select Odometer to adjust odometer readings or Hours to adjust hour meter readings.
5. Using the Start Date and End Date fields, enter the beginning and ending dates in the range of dates containing the readings you wish to adjust.
The grid will automatically populate with all meter readings meeting the selection criteria.
6. Review the entries in the grid to determine whether the readings you want to adjust are shown. If not, adjust the date range as necessary.
   Note: The Previous Meter Reading before MM/DD/YYYY and Next Meter Reading after MM/DD/YYYY informational displays (below grid) will show the previous and next readings for the equipment based on the selected date range, if applicable.
7. Once the grid includes the readings you need to adjust, optionally enter a month in the Mth field to restrict the transactions in the grid to a single month.

   Leave the Mth field blank if the readings to be adjusted span more than one month.

8. If adjusting/deleting a single meter reading, enter the transaction number of the reading you want to adjust in the Trans field.
   Note: The transaction number for each meter reading is displayed in the Trans column of the grid (last column).
9. Manually adjust meter readings.
   1. Select the transaction in the grid to update.
   2. In the New Meter field, enter the new meter reading. May leave blank if only entering a New Replaced Meter reading.
      Note: Reading cannot be less than the Previous Meter Reading before MM/DD/YYYY or greater than the Next Meter Reading after MM/DD/YYYY shown below the grid.
   3. In the New Replaced Meter field, enter the new replaced meter reading. May leave blank if only entering a New Meter reading.
      Note: Reading cannot be less than the Previous Meter Reading before MM/DD/YYYY or greater than the Next Meter Reading after MM/DD/YYYY shown below the grid.

      The system will automatically update the New Total Meter and New Difference fields based on the values entered for the line. These fields cannot be adjusted manually.

   4. Repeat steps a-c for any other readings in the grid that need to be adjusted.
   5. After you have finished entering adjustments, review all entries in the grid for accuracy; make any necessary changes.
   6. When you are satisfied with all changes, click Update Meter Readings(button below grid).
