Annotate a photo with the text tool

Annotate photos with the text tool to highlight visual elements and clearly communicate details or issues within a project.

  1. Take photos from Comments, References, Notes, or Checklist Approval.
  2. Select a photo in the carousel to choose it.
    You see a border display on your selection.
  3. Select edit icon.
  4. Select text tool icon.
  5. Enter your text.
  6. Select Done.
    You see the text display in red.
  7. Select and drag your text. If you would like to add further annotation, you can use Pencil tool pencil tool icon.
  8. To save your annotations, select Done.
    You see the photo carousel display.
  9. To save your annotations to the record, select Done.
Photos save locally to the app, not to your personal camera roll.
