Create a Subcontract

Create a subcontract to write a commitment of pricing, scope of work, terms, and conditions for a subcontractor. The subcontract record helps you monitor billing, retention, and payments as well as bond and insurance requirements.

You can also create a subcontract and route it for approval. See Create a Subcontract and Route It for Approval for details.
  1. If you haven't already done so, set up your subcontract defaults on the Subcontract Settings screen.
  2. If you haven't already done so, set up the vendor for subcontracts.
  3. On the Enter Subcontract screen, enter the details of the subcontract.
  4. Print and manage the subcontract and the PDF file as needed.
