Copy Vendors to Another Company - Field Descriptions

If cost centers are being used, during the update Spectrum adds selected vendors to the new company only if you have permission to access the vendor in the current company. Spectrum compares the vendor's list of shared cost centers with cost centers in your assigned cost center scheme, and if there are no common cost centers, then that vendor is not copied during the update. Spectrum also verifies that you have permission to access the G/L accounts assigned to the vendor in that other company. Spectrum compares each account's list of shared cost centers with cost centers in your assigned cost center scheme in the destination company, and if there are no common cost centers, then the G/L account will not be recorded for that vendor in the new company.

The Data Entry menu is used to
      record invoices as they are received. Invoices can be tracked optionally through Unapproved
      Invoice Processing, and routed automatically to reviewers for approval. Options are available
      for correcting invoice entry errors. Typically, invoices are entered and updated, then later
      paid. In addition, credit memos, recurring invoices and subcontract progress billings can be
      created and processed. Payments can be made by issuing regular check or by manual or pre-paid
      checks. Issued checks may be voided.

When you initially log on to Spectrum, the Site Map screen will display. This is the "main screen" in Spectrum. Along the left side of the screen, the module menu displays. The modules that your company has installed and that you have security access to display on the menu. After selecting a module, the processing menu will be enabled.
