Export memos from a catalog to an existing Microsoft Word document

  1. Open the Manage Estimates screen and open the estimate job from which you want to export information.
  2. Open the Catalog tab.
  3. In the Catalog field, click to select the catalog from which to export cost item memos.
  4. Select the folder that contains the cost items with memos to export.
  5. If you want to export memos for selected cost items, select those cost items.
  6. Click Estimating > Tools > Memos > Catalog Memos in the All Tasks pane.
  7. Do one of the following:
    • Click Yes to view all memos.

    • Click No to view memos for the selected cost items.

  8. In the Export to Word Options section, select Open an existing Word document.
  9. Click Browse.
  10. Navigate to the existing Word document.
  11. Click Open.
  12. Complete the fields for the Memos popup as described on the Catalog Memos Screen Field Reference .
  13. Click Export.
  14. Navigate to the existing Word document again.
  15. Click Save.
  16. Click Yes.
