Field Definitions: GL Chart of Accounts Copier Form

The following is a list of field descriptions for the GL Accounts Copier form. Many of the descriptions include links to other topics that provide additional information about or related to the topic.

Source: GL Company

Enter the GL company from which to copy all or part of the chart of accounts. Defaults the active company.

Note: The source company may be the same or different than the destination company.

Source: GL Account Mask

Enter the mask for the source account using the format that was set up for your company. Contact your system administrator if you are not sure what your format is.

Destination: GL Company

Enter the GL company to which you are copying the chart of accounts. Defaults the active company.

Note: The destination company may be the same or different than the source company.

Enter the mask for the destination account using the format that was set up for your company. Contact your system administrator if you are not sure what your format is.

Preview/Copy

Press the Preview button to populate the grid with the existing and new (destination) accounts. Press the Copy button to initiate the account copy.
