Upgrade Viewpoint Estimating™ on a Workstation
For each software release upgrade the Viewpoint Estimating application on each workstation (computer) that connects to the server where the application is also installed.
Important: For Service Pack Upgrades
To upgrade the application on workstations, you must be running the corresponding major version on both the server and workstations. For example, to upgrade workstations to version 4.2.1, you must already be running version 4.2.0 on the server and all workstations.
There are two methods for propagating the upgrade to each workstation:
- Upgrade Workstations Automatically by pushing the upgrade from the server.
- Upgrade Workstations Manually by physically running the installer program at each workstation which already has it installed.
