Android devices require an app storage upgrade
Google has mandated a security change to app storage for all Android applications. This release includes a necessary update affecting all Android mobile devices.
CAUTION: All Android users should
sync devices before updating to ensure if there is an issue with your
device, your Field View data is protected.
The first attempted use of the new Android version prompts the automatic update.
- The time required to complete the storage update depends on the amount of project data stored on the device.
- The app can be used only after the storage update is complete. Our current estimate of the impact to most users is less than a one-minute delay, but that some users may encounter a delay of up to 20 minutes. During this time, a progress bar will indicate the portions of the update completed and remaining.
