You can cut-and-paste an existing trip on the dispatch board and assign it to another technician and/or date, and even on another dispatch board.

You can cut-and-paste an existing trip on the dispatch board and assign it to another technician and/or date, and even on another dispatch board. This includes unassigned, assigned, scheduled, and/or unscheduled trips, regardless of status. The system copies all details of the trip (description, details, status, date/time, duration, and technician) to the new trip, which you can then modify as needed. If you cut-and-paste a trip with a date that is in the past, it will default to the current date.

1. Open SM Dispatch Board and select the Dispatch Board to work with.
2. Select the trip to transfer.
3. Right-click on the trip and select Cut Trip.
4. Go to the new designation location and/or technician for the trip.
5. Right-click and select Paste Trip.

The trip appears in the new designated location.
