What's New in App Xchange October 1, 2025

The latest releases as of October 1 adds key improvements to the Software Development Kit (SDK) and the platform's Vista and Spectrum connectors.

Salesforce Connector

A new Salesforce connector is now available. It enables users to create, read, update, and delete Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, and Tasks within App Xchange.

Action Processing Improvements

The following user-facing changes have been made to enhance App Xchange’s action processing.
  • Queued actions that have not been processed within 14 days will be automatically terminated. If you wish to reprocess any unprocessed actions that will be terminated on September 24th, you can reprocess them using the Actions Explorer.
  • Detailed input and output JSON payloads for all terminal action instances will be pruned after 90 days (3 months). The action record and its final status will remain visible. Only the detailed data payloads will be deleted.

SDK Improvements

The SDK for building App Xchange connectors has received the following improvements and more:

  • Upgraded file handling
  • Automatic API client injection
  • Bug fixes
  • Minor quality of life improvements

Vista Connector Improvements

The Vista connector now supports Remove and Remove Many actions for the following batch entry resources:

The Vista connector has a new Post action on Usage Batches.

The Vista connector now supports the Pre-Construction Module, starting with read-only access to Potential Projects, and improved functionality and tabs. Add and Update capabilities are coming soon.

The Payroll Departments resource has been enhanced with new tabs for Earning Types and Liability Types.

The Vista connector now supports the User-Defined (UD) Module, allowing access to custom tables.

Spectrum Connector Improvements

The Paid Invoices resource has new cache maintenance actions that allow for project-specific cache management.

The GL Departments resource is now available under the Inventory Control module.
