Trimble Connect Sync refresh SyncData

Problem:

Sometimes, the Sync Preview of a schedule shows inconsistencies, files that not have been changed or updated are selected for upload/download.

Besides taking in account for the general do's and dont's (https://docs.sync.connect.trimble.com/dos-and-donts-for-connect-sync), it sometimes help to refresh the SyncData that is tracked for the project.

Solution:

Steps to identify the SyncData folder of the project:

  1. In a browser, go to the project.
  2. Identify the projectID of the project:

Delete the folder:

  1. Close the Sync app.
  2. Open the TaskManager and close the synctool process

  1. In the explorer, go to %LocalAppData%\Trimble\Trimble Connect Sync\SyncData
  2. Select and remove the corresponding folder for the ProjectID:

 

Restart the Sync app and try syncing the schedule again.
