The Novapoint License Manager is a license manager system for handling network licenses within a company.

Note: For our users having Novapoint licenses via TrimbleID, this license manager is not necessary.

The latest version of the Novapoint License Manager is version 11.19.

Requesting your FlexLM license

Reach out to our backoffice when you need a network license for your company - as agreed with our sales office in advance.

Via our backoffice you will get instructions on how to proceed when using a FlexLM network license system.

Use order.no@trimble.com for all contact (order.se@trimble.com is available for the Swedish market).

Getting access to the license as a user

In the Windows start menu, type in License search path to access the license manager program. Check if the name of the license server is listed there.

If it is not listed, click New and add it by typing in @servername (with the @ sign in front). Ask your in-house license manager or IT department for instructions.

Then

• open the Novapoint software

• select 'Start CAD' at the bottom right

• and navigate to the Novapoint > Module Loader

• see if you have access to different modules there. If not, click on Settings and Update and check if it helps.

Known error messages

If you experience an error message related to NP_BASE - go into your Startup Settings in the Windows Startup Menu and make sure the license for Quadri is set to Named User, not using the FlexLM system.
