Extract the RS Means file

After you have received your RS Means catalog, you must extract the ZIP file in order to import it.

  1. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder that contains the ZIP file you received from RS Means.
  2. Right-click on the ZIP file and select Open with > Windows Explorer.
    An Explorer window opens to show a QDZ file.
  3. Right-click on the QDZ file and select Copy.
  4. Navigate to the folder where you want to save the QDZ file.
  5. Right-click and select Paste.
The RS Means file is now extracted.
