Clash Set Parameters
The table provides detailed information about clash set parameters.
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Name for the clash set is mandatory and needs to be defined before the clash set can be created. Once a name has been defined, the Run test button is enabled. |
| Type | There are two types of clash sets: Clash and Clearance.
|
| Tolerance/Clearance | Tolerance: the conflicting distance between objects. Clearance: the distance between objects. |
| Ignore clashes within the same type | Selecting this option disregards any clashes of the same object type. This can be useful when you are detecting a clash between two trades or disciplines. |
| Shared with | Share the clash set by choosing the user from the list. |
Clash Testing
When you create a clash test, the 3D Viewer will use the models that are currently loaded in the 3D view.
In the Parameters panel, you can choose which version of the model to use the clash test. By default, the latest version of each model is selected.
Two or more models must be selected to run a clash test.
