What's New in Field Management Mobile 2026 R1

What's New lists the enhancements and changes made in the 26.1 Field Management Mobile release. This release is available in January 2026.

Field Management Mobile Highlights

The following enhancements and customer suggestions were added in this release.

  • Configure timecard overnight clock entry settings: The new portal setting Allow employees to allocate overnight hours to a single timecard now enables admins to customize how time is reported for employee shifts that cross midnight.

    • If the setting is not enabled (default): When employees clock out overnight, the hours past midnight are split off and added to a second timecard on the next day.
    • If the setting is enabled: When employees clock out overnight, their time is reported on a single timecard (except on the last day of the pay period).

    This feature adds options to the functionality introduced in the previous version of FM Mobile.

  • Automatic FM Mobile app initialization with Mobile Device Management: With the correct configuration of Mobile Device Management (MDM) for your organization, employees using the FM Mobile app will be able to log in right away without manually initializing the app through the web portal. For more details about how admins can set up MDM, see Configure Mobile Device Management (MDM).
