Proxy Settings

Trimble Connect for Windows doesn't use a proxy server by default, but you can choose to add one if needed.

Access the Proxy Settings

  1. Open Trimble Connect for Windows.
  2. Select Settings in the upper right corner of the application.

    The General Settings tab is the third tab.

Field Descriptions

Use proxy serverCheck this box to use a proxy server.
ServerEnter the IP address or hostname of the proxy server.
PortEnter the port number for the server.
Server requires authenticationSelect this checkbox if the server requires authentication.
UsernameIf authentication is required, enter the username provided by your proxy service here.
PasswordIf authentication is required, enter the password provided by your proxy service here.
