The Journal Entry screen lists all unposted journal entries. If a debit changed, a credit must also be changed. Spectrum does not allow a journal entry to be out of balance.

If debits do not equal credits when you click OK, the Out of Balance window opens and displays the sum of all debit entries, the sum of all credit entries, and the balance yet to be accounted for.
