Users may create multi-company job requisitions from Materials Management by managing scale processing in one company and job tracking in another. If the multi-company option is selected during Inventory Control Installation, then the job requisitions created from Materials Management will post General Ledger expense and Job Cost to the company ID entered. The intercompany General Ledger account entered on the Inventory Control Installation screen will be used as the G/L credit account.

                                          One</span> by logging into <a class="xref j-external-link" href="http://team.viewpoint.com" target="_blank">team.viewpoint.com</a>, and then selecting <span class="ph uicontrol">Accounts Payable</span> from the main menu.</p><p class="p">Use Automatic Invoicing to enter validated, unapproved vendor invoices. The Data Entry menu is used to
      record invoices as they are received. Invoices can be tracked optionally through Unapproved
      Invoice Processing, and routed automatically to reviewers for approval. Options are available
      for correcting invoice entry errors. Typically, invoices are entered and updated, then later
      paid. In addition, credit memos, recurring invoices and subcontract progress billings can be
      created and processed. Payments can be made by issuing regular check or by manual or pre-paid
      checks. Issued checks may be voided.

Materials

When you initially log on to Spectrum, the Site Map screen
      will display. This is the "main screen" in Spectrum. Along the left side of the screen, the
      module menu displays. The modules that your company has installed and that you have security
      access to display on the menu. After selecting a module, the processing menu will be enabled.
      Processing menu items include the following options:

Spectrum menus

The Materials Management module streamlines the process of
      sales and job costing by directly importing weight tickets. This module integrates with
      Inventory Control and Job Cost for materials requisitioned to jobs, to Order Processing and
      Accounts Receivable for customer sales, to Accounts Payable for the creation of invoices, and
      with Document Imaging for attaching images to scale tickets.
