Audit I-9 Forms

Use the I-9 Audit Log to review entries and changes associated with an employee's I-9 form.

This allows you to conduct internal audits of your I-9 forms in compliance with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
  1. From the New Hire Dashboard, select a new hire's name in the grid.

    The New Hire Details page opens, showing a summary of the new hire's onboarding status, tasks, and progress.

  2. Under Task Progress, select Audit Log for the I-9 task.

    This downloads a .CSV version of the new hire's I-9 audit log to your system.

    • If no information has been added to an employee's I-9 form, the I-9 Audit Log will download as blank. You will see column headers, but the columns will not contain any information.

    • You can open and view the file in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. For help, see Open the I-9 Audit Log in Excel or Google Sheets.

The audit log tracks the name of the user who made a change, the IP address for that user, a description of the change, and other details. See I-9 Audit Log Columns for more information.
