I-9 Audit Log Columns
The following table provides descriptions for the columns shown on the I-9 Audit Log.

Column | Description |

User Name | The name of the HR admin or HR specialist who
entered or changed information on the employee's form. Note: This field is blank for new hire entries
because new hires do not log in to your portal to enter
information on their I-9 form.

New Hire Name | The first name, last name, and new hire ID for the new hire whose I-9
audit log you are viewing. Note: The new hire ID is an internal ID that
the system uses to differentiate between new hires. It is
different from the employee ID and is not something that your HR
team needs to maintain or track.

IP | The IP address for the user who entered or changed information on the form. |
Field | The name of the field on the I-9 form that was entered or changed. Example: Phone |
Description | The description of the entry or change made to the field. Example: Section 1: Employee's Telephone Number |
Input | The information added to the field. Example: (555) 555-5555 |
Date and Time (UTC) | The date and time (UTC) when the entry or change was made. |
