Options Dialog - Bond Tables - General

Modified: 24 Sep 2026 B2W Estimate

The Bond Tables, General page allows you to create, configure, and manage company-wide bond tables used to calculate bond values based on target bid prices in an estimate.

To navigate to this section of the Options dialog, select the Edit & Tools tab, select Options (Options > Tools Options in the Estimate area), and open Cost Components > Bond Tables > General.

The Bond Tables, General page stores your company's bond tables.

You may create and configure any number of bond tables. One of these tables may then be selected on the Bid Pricing Strategy tab in any estimate. If appropriate, you may also indicate that one of these bond tables is the "default" for new estimates you create.

Bond tables may be configured as follows:

FieldDescription
Values shown are for bond table

Use the dropdown to select the name of the bond table whose settings are to be displayed or edited.

Create a new bond table

Select Create New Bond Table to create a new bond table. You may create as many bond tables as you want, and configure unique settings for each.

Rename a bond table

Select Rename Bond Table to rename an existing bond table.

Delete a bond table

Select Delete Bond Table when you need to permanently delete the currently selected bond table. B2W Estimate will not let you delete a bond table which used as a system default.

Use this bond table as a default for new estimates Place a checkmark in this box to set the displayed bond table as the default bond table that will automatically apply to all new estimates you create. You may have one default bond table. You may still choose a different bond table on a per-estimate basis, even if you set a default.
Level, Contract Amount, and Percentage

Use the New and Delete buttons to create one or more "levels" of calculation. These values represent the way in which bond will calculate within an estimate.

Amounts over {x} This is the final level of bond calculations. Bond calculates at the entered percent on all values that exceed this amount.

B2W Estimate always calculates bond values using an estimate's Target Bid Price, not its Current Bid Price. This is one of the many reasons why it is important to ensure that your bid is always in a balanced state, with as little difference between target and current prices as possible.
