You must use Aatrix to create, print, and efile your ACA files.
Before you create and submit ACA e-files:
- You must have Aatrix installed on your local workstation. For more information, see Enable Aatrix on a Workstation.
- You must set employer and employee information for 1094s and 1095s. You can do this manually or via initialization. For manual entry, see Set Up Employer Information for ACA 1094-C Processing and Set Up Employee Information for ACA 1095-C Processing. To initialize data, see PR ACA Initialize Form.
Note: You can run Aatrix in test mode prior to creating and submitting 1094s and 1095s to verify your ACA data is correct and formatted properly. For more information, see Test ACA Transmittal Data for Accuracy in Aatrix.
