Property Set

Property Set (PSET) is a tool where you edit attribute values on selected object types in a model with a customized type catalog.

Note: To create a customized tyoe catalog, use Type Catalog Configuration to create a PSET in a new custom type catalog based on a standard Quadri Feature Catalog, and use Trimble Connect to update the Type Catalog for the active model.

Enable PSET Editing

Select the receive button and download a new workset after the model is updated in Trimble Connect with the new FC. Check the explorer window that the FC is updated, and presented with a new name and version number.

Find it in Modify > Property Set.

Insert a Property Set Task

The first time a task is edited, the PropertySet Editor window displays an empty template “PSET_Template1”.

To fill the window, make a graphical selection (Window, Crossing, in combination with Ctrl), or by Dynamic Selection. The template will present the basic property group: Common and Stations.

PSET Editor Buttons

  1. Lock/Unlock the selection.
  2. Select features (Dynamic Query).
  3. Customize the column and property view.
  4. Merge the cell.
  5. Toggle the group with equal feature.
  6. Open Template manager.
  7. Activate Edit mode for the feature selection.
  8. Search for feature type in the selection list.

To customize your own template, select the column icon (3) and select/deselect property groups and properties. Select the Custom PropertySet from the list. The PSET-column will be added in the window. Save the changes by selecting Save to Template (6), and enter a new template name.

To edit PSET attribute values, select features graphically, or use Select Features (2) to select via Dynamic Query. To edit a feature type, mark one, or multiple (select down in list + shift) lines, and select the edit mode icon (7). Follow these steps to edit the value column:
  1. Select the arrow to edit a single value in a drop-down list.
  2. Right-click a cell and Fill the column with the same value.
  3. Drag down the lower right corner of the selected cell.
  4. Copy and paste selected cells.
