Fuel & Oil Report - Calculations
Use the table below for reference when completing the fields on this screen.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Fuel Burn Rate | The fuel burn rate equals the quantity of fluid consumed (in gallons) per meter unit (or usage hour) and displays as gallons/hour. When meter units are stated in miles or kilometers, the burn rate is calculated by dividing the total gallons by the distance traveled. The gallons consumed is determined by summing the fuel entries of codes tracked in gallons over the same period of time as the elapsed meter. |
Oil Burn Rate | The oil burn rate equals the quantity (quarts consumed per hour, mile, or kilometer) divided by the elapsed meter or usage hours (quarts/hour). |
