Set a Compliance Template as the Default

You can set default compliance templates at the vendor level and at the project level.

You must have created at least one Compliance Template. See Create a Compliance Template.
Any time after you've created you first template, you can choose which templates should be assigned to vendors or to projects by default.

To set a template as the default:

  1. In the left-hand sidebar, select Company settings.
  2. Among the tabs at the top of the screen, select Compliance templates.
Already-created compliance templates appear in a list.
  3. For the applicable template, select the Settings dropdown.
  4. Choose between Set Project Default and Set Vendor Default.

With either option, the compliance status of each requirement is initially set as Not Compliant.
Any existing compliance requirements remain unchanged, but the requirements you just set will be enforced starting now.
