Complete Assigned Action Items

Complete assigned action items, and submit them for manager review.

  1. Select Employee Tools > Action Items.
  2. Select an action item from the grid to open it.

    To search for an existing Action Item, use the filters at the top of the page:

    • Depending on your permissions, you can filter by date range, Status (All, Submitted Only or Not Submitted Only), Employee, and Type (the name of the template used for the Action Item).

    • You can also use the Search field to search for a specific template by Action ID, Action Description (the name of the Action Item template), Reviewed By, Employee, and Status.
  3. Complete the fields on the form, and select Save.

    You must select Save to retain the data you enter. Saving allows you to exit the form and return later without losing information. Any information saved on the Action Item form is retained for future sessions.

  4. When you are ready to submit your completed form for approval, select Submit.

    The Action Item is routed for manager review and approval. You cannot edit submitted Action Items. You can view and download a read-only version of the Action Item, however. After the Action Item has been finalized, the approving manager's name displays in the Reviewed By column on the Action Items dashboard. If needed, you can download a copy of the completed form by selecting Download in the upper right of the page.
