User's Trimble ID is Not Found

Follow these steps when you cannot select Get Trimble ID because of the error, "The Trimble ID was not found for <user email>." In order to fix this issue, the user must upgrade their sign in on team.viewpoint.com.

  1. Verify the issue.
    1. In hr.viewpoint.com, navigate to HR Role Management.
    2. Find the user and select Get Trimble ID.

    If Get Trimble ID updates to Yes, the issue is resolved.

    If you receive the error message ,"The Trimble ID was not found for <user email>", proceed to the next step.

  2. In team.viewpoint.com, navigate to Admin Settings > User Management.
  3. Find the user and verify that their Status.
  4. If the user's Status is Invited or Invitation Expired, select Resend Invite and prompt the user to accept the invite. Once they do this, proceed to step 6.
    Note: When an Enterprise Admin in Team creates an invite for a new user, the HR.Viewpoint.com system will check every 15 minutes for a 24 hour period if that user has accepted their invite and successfully created a Trimble ID.

    After 24 hours, the HR System checks if the user has created a Trimble ID daily at 1 am PST.

  5. If the user's Status is Active, prompt them to link their Trimble ID in Team.

    1. The user must sign into team.viewpoint.com, where they will be prompted to sign in with an existing Trimble ID.
      Once the user has signed into their Trimble ID, a page displays prompting them to link their Trimble account.
    2. The user must select Yes, use this account.
      The user is signed into Team.
      Important: The user will not be able to access paystubs in HR Management for Spectrum until you complete step 6.
  6. Attempt to retrieve the user's Trimble ID once more.
    1. In hr.viewpoint.com, navigate to HR Role Management.
    2. Find the user and select Get Trimble ID.

If Get Trimble ID updates to Yes, the issue is resolved and the user can now sign in.
