What's new in Field View 2026 R2
The Field View R2 release is designed to improve user experience and streamline workflows. These updates include enhanced functionality for creating and managing invitations, bulk operations for user invitations, and improved search and selection capabilities in the Assign Users page. Additionally, users are able to upload BIM models directly from their local PC in addition to other BIM enhancements.
Field View may experience temporary downtime outside of normal business hours for each region during the release. We are working hard to ensure a smooth transition and are excited to bring you this new update.
Two-step verification required starting March 31
Starting on March 31st, Trimble ID will require two-step verification (2SV). Please enable this feature on your account before this date to avoid disruptions.

Business and project users
Updates to business and project user functionality improve the management of user invitations. These changes provide greater flexibility, streamline workflows, and enhance the overall user experience, including a simplified process for assigning users to projects.
Key Benefits:
- Enhanced Invitation Management: Supports multiple project selections and bulk operations (such as delete and resend) to save time and effort.
- Export Capabilities: Enables downloading filtered results as a CSV file for easier data handling and reporting.
- Bulk Delete: Allows for efficient removal of non-users.
- Last Online Tracking: The Name column for project users now displays the user's last login date. Administrators can also filter by this date.
BIM enhancements
Efforts in this release focus on BIM and model management. New functionalities for uploading models and managing classifications allow users to handle BIM-related tasks with increased efficiency and flexibility.
