Use the Estimating Import/Export Tool to import cost items, bid items, or bid assemblies into an existing estimate from an ASCII file. Use a template to define the structure of the import file. See Import/Export Templates for details on creating a template.

To open a job in the Manage Estimates screen, click Estimating > Estimating > Manage Estimates in the All Tasks pane. Then select the job you want to open, and click OK.
