Overview Window

The Overview window, located in the lower-left portion of the Takeoff tab, displays the entire sheet you are currently working with.

Instead of scrolling through your plans in the Main window, use the Overview window to select the area to display within the Main window. This can help you save time in taking off plans, particularly if the plans are relatively large.

Note: To open the Manage Estimates screen, click Estimating > Estimating > Manage Estimates in the All Tasks pane. Click Open Existing Job, select the job you want to work on, and click OK.
