Getting started

Getting Started provides an overview of concepts and tasks that will orient you to ProjectSight Mobile and allow you to quickly start collaborating with team members.

Onboarding wizard

Complete your profile, add a project, and invite team members with the onboarding wizard for the free version of ProjectSight.

Projects

A project contains the records and files related to your construction project. The project home page streamlines collaboration, providing access to the notifications center, the project menu, settings, the Quick Add menu, and widgets for shortcuts to frequently used records, team member management, and recent drawings.

Basics

Settings allow you to select a data center region, photo resolution, and project size, manage drawing revisions, attachments, downloads, and links, and submit a sync log for troubleshooting. For some records, you can access filter, sort, and search in the record header.

Quick add records

If you have view and create permissions for a record type, you can quickly add and upload records from the project home page.

Record types

Record types are used to categorize and manage project information, such as documents, issues, and tasks. Each record type has its own set of fields, workflows, and permissions, allowing for customized data management tailored to specific project needs.

Record features

Use record features to assign records, edit records, enhance communication, and manage, track, and document project elements.

Drawing annotations

Annotate a drawing from a record to identify the area in the drawing that needs action or information.

Drawing measurements

Add measurement annotations to your drawings to estimate actual sizes. You can add annotations to measure distances, perimeters, and areas.

Photos and videos

Attach photos or videos to your records to provide further clarification. You can attach photos and videos to records with references, notes, or comments fields.
