What's New In HR Management for Spectrum 2026 R3

The 2026 R3 release of HR Management for Spectrum adds an improved enterprise switcher and bug fixes. This release is available as of February 24, 2026.

Improved Company Switcher

If you have worked for more than one company that uses Trimble software, you can now easily switch between them using the company dropdown, located next to the logo.

For example, if you can’t find your latest pay stub, make sure you select your current company.

Your selected company has been added to areas throughout the application to make it clear which company you're viewing information for.

Onboarding New Hire Birthday Bug Resolved

Fixed an issue that caused employee birth dates to increase by one day in Spectrum.

As of January 20, 2026, all new employee initializations will reflect the accurate birth date entered during the onboarding process.

To ensure data integrity within your employee records, we recommend auditing the birth dates of any new hires onboarded since January 1, 2025.

How to Audit:

  1. Navigate to Onboarding > New Hire Dashboard.

  2. Select Show Filter.

Select the Expected Hire Date relevant date range (January 1, 2025 – January 20, 2026) and the status Initialized.

  3. Select Apply.
  4. Compare the birth dates recorded in Onboarding against the entries in Spectrum.

There is a known issue impacting W-4s where some fields are showing as blank in the web preview of the document.

This data is captured in HR Management for Spectrum and populates in the PDF download of the W-4. This information is also captured in Spectrum.
