Create a Customer

Add customers when creating a job or add them directly on the Customer Hub using the guided entry assistant.

  1. Choose how you want to get started:
    • From the sidebar menu, select Customers. On the Customer Hub, select Add Customer.
    • From your dashboard, select Add > Add Customer.
    • Add a customer when creating a job. From the sidebar menu, go to Jobs and follow the workflow. When you get to the customer setup, select Create Customer and follow the steps below.
  2. Enter the customer's First Name and Last Name.
  3. To add the customer's company name, select the Company checkbox, then enter the Company name.
  4. Enter a Nickname for the customer.
  5. Enter the Email address for the primary contact for this customer.
  6. Optionally, enter the Phone number for the primary contact.
  7. Select next to continue.
  8. Enter the customer's Address.
    Tip: Enable location sharing in your browser to see relevant addresses near you.

  9. Enter the customer's billing address.
    • If the billing address is the same as mailing address, select the Billing Address is the same checkbox (selected by default).
    • If the billing address is different from the mailing address, deselect the Billing Address is the same checkbox. Then enter the billing address manually.
  10. Select next to continue.

    A summary page displays with the customer's name, contact, and address information.

  11. If the customer information is correct, select Submit.

    If you need to edit the information, select a section and make your changes. Select Go To Summary or select next multiple times to return to the summary page, then select Submit.

The customer's information is saved and they become an active customer. This customer is now available to add to a job.

If you exit the workflow before submitting your customer information, that customer will be saved as a draft. Go to the Drafts tab to finish editing.

To edit a customer, find the customer and select More > Edit Customer.
