Add and Remove Views from Groups

Drag and Drop Views

Views can be added to groups by dragging a View and dropping it into the View Group.

To drag and drop a view:
  1. Open your project in Trimble Connect for Browser and navigate to the 3D Viewer.
  2. Open the Views panel.
  3. Select and drag the desired View to the View group container.
  4. Release the View.
    The View will now be inside the View Group.

Add to a Group During View Creation

Views can be added to groups when you create them.

To add Views to a group during View creation:
  1. Open your project in Trimble Connect for Browser and navigate to the 3D Viewer.
  2. After you have loaded a model inside the Viewer, adjust the model to any position that you would like to capture a View of.
  3. Select Add View in the toolbar.
    The New View panel opens.
  4. Select the desired option in the View Group field.
  5. Select Save.

Remove Views from View Groups

You can remove views from view groups.

Views can be removed from groups in several ways:
  • Opening the overflow menu for a View inside a group and selecting Remove from group.
  • Drag and drop a view from the View group to another group.
  • Select Delete next to view from the View Group's detail panel.
Note:
  • Removing Views from groups does not delete the View.
  • The View Group will not be deleted even if it does not contain any Views.
