FLSA Qualified Overtime Compensation Report

This report is designed to assist you with compliance and accurate reporting of overtime calculations under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). It calculates the overtime premium that an employee may be able to deduct.

For tax year 2025, it is optional to add the calculated amounts to the employee's W-2.
  • If you add the amounts to the W-2, you must do so manually.
  • If you do not add the amounts to the W-2, you must furnish this report to the employee.

Note: This field displays only if cost centers are being used and entity tracking is also enabled in the current company.
Enter a cost center entity if you want the report to return entity-specific information.
Selections
EmployeeChoose one:
  • Press Enter to include all employees.
  • Enter a specific employee code.
  • Double-click this field to view and select from a list of employees.
From check dateEnter the first check date to be included on the report.
To check date

The default date is the current payroll processing date.

Enter the latest check date you want included on this report. The year must match the year in From check date.

Page break between employees? Select if you want each employee to start at the top of a new page.
Define Cash FringesOpens the Define Cash Fringe Add-ons window; field descriptions provided below.
Sort bySelect how to sort the report results:
  • Employee alpha
  • Social security number

Define Cash Fringe Add-ons Window - Field Descriptions

To open the Define Cash Fringe Add-ons window, select the Define Cash Fringes button from the FLSA Qualified Overtime Compensation Report screen.

Use this window to define cash fringes that should be included in the report's calculations.

RemoveSelect this button after choosing a row to delete from the list.
