With the April release of Field View, we plan on making managing projects more efficient and helping streamline your workflow. Users will be able to sign forms using their mobile PIN without logging in, saving time while ensuring secure authorization. We’re transitioning project organisations into the web application to phase out Classic Field View, and aligning model usage with drawing functionalities for a more cohesive experience. We'll be adding a new card view for models alongside the current grid view, and making it easier to stay informed with Revision tags for models when sources change, empowering you to choose the most current version. Plus, you'll be able to effortlessly navigate between tasks or forms and their associated 360 photos with a link, ensuring a smooth, uninterrupted workflow.
The March 2025 release of Field View contains the switch from ViewpointID to Trimble Identity.
Welcome to the first Field View release of 2025, complete with exciting updates about new features! Elevate your visual documentation with Field View Site Capture! Site Capture 360 Photos delivers easy, visual, cost-effective on-site progress tracking and comprehensive evidence capture. We also made it easier to upload BIM files directly into your project using your Trimble Connect account. In addition, we are changing the name of all project communication plans in the permissions to the more-accurate project notification preferences.
The Plan View in the web application displays the project plans, including any calibrated locations, 360 photos, tasks, and forms.
The Drawings Library holds uploaded project drawings for you to assign and use across multiple locations. These drawings can be uploaded from Trimble Connect, VFP, or from your computer.
From your mobile device, you can create a copy of an existing form instance rather than completing a form from scratch, or move a form from its existing location to another.
