If the 'Utilize value added tax (VAT) tracking?' checkbox
      is selected in General Ledger Installation, the VAT code defaults from the job's tax
      classification code, and when there is a VAT override on the tax classification code will be
      used at the job's VAT code. When a VAT override does not exist, the code default from the one
      defined in G/L Installation.

Summary Billing Selection - VAT processing information

This screen is used to select or deselect transactions for
      billings. Transactions may be selected for all jobs, or for one specific job. During billing
      selection, if the billings exceed the "Not to exceed" limit, the Not to Exceed Billing
      Exception Report prints automatically.

The Data Entry menu is used to
      record invoices as they are received. Invoices can be tracked optionally through Unapproved
      Invoice Processing, and routed automatically to reviewers for approval. Options are available
      for correcting invoice entry errors. Typically, invoices are entered and updated, then later
      paid. In addition, credit memos, recurring invoices and subcontract progress billings can be
      created and processed. Payments can be made by issuing regular check or by manual or pre-paid
      checks. Issued checks may be voided.
