Use this report to analyze billing versus cost values on a phase-by-phase basis. The report breaks billing values down into three groups: Pre-billing, Billing in Progress, and Billing History. Then it compares the billing totals with actual Job Cost history on a phase-by-phase basis, and calculates the variance and percent variance between the billing and cost figures.

In the Variance filter section, you can select to show only specific job phases based on a designated variance amount or percent. This allows you to easily sort phases that are not currently being billed, or those with too little markup. The report also allows you to conveniently identify phases with the highest profitability.
