Use this tab to store the warranty details for the equipment and its components and tires.

You can enter warranties that are date-based, and those that are based on meter reading. The Image button allows you to save warranty images relating to the initial purchase and major repairs at the equipment level, and you can store component-specific warranties at the detail level (which is helpful if the components or tires are installed after the equipment is already in service).

• Click New to display the New Warranty for Equipment window and enter a new warranty.

• Click Status to determine which types of records will display in the list box.

• If an e-mail address has been entered for the selected warrantor, click the E-Mail button to write and send a message to the designated contact person (for example, if you have a question about your warranty coverage). If no e-mail address has been entered for this warrantor, you can click this button and type in the recipient's e-mail address in the To field.
