Depreciation Entry - Field Descriptions

Depreciation Edit Listing prints a list of all fixed assets for which depreciation was calculated in the Depreciation Calculation Update.

Depreciation Edit Listing

Build Depreciation Transactions is used to calculate the depreciation for assets as of a specific date. Simply enter the date from which depreciation is to be calculated and click Continue.

Build Depreciation Transactions

This function updates the computed depreciation to the Fixed Assets File Maintenance and associated Fixed Assets history files. It prints a report of entries to be updated to the General Ledger for all assets not tied to Equipment Control. If an equipment code was recorded in Fixed Assets File Maintenance, then this update will also print a report of all entries posted to the Equipment Control depreciation transaction file (DLI Entry). Equipment Control entries update to Equipment Control, not the General Ledger, for depreciation.

Update Depreciation to Master

This screen updates the General Ledger with data that appears on the Fixed Assets G/L Summary Report, unless the Post to G/L checkbox has not been selected on the General Ledger Installation screen.

The Data Entry menu is used to
      record invoices as they are received. Invoices can be tracked optionally through Unapproved
      Invoice Processing, and routed automatically to reviewers for approval. Options are available
      for correcting invoice entry errors. Typically, invoices are entered and updated, then later
      paid. In addition, credit memos, recurring invoices and subcontract progress billings can be
      created and processed. Payments can be made by issuing regular check or by manual or pre-paid
      checks. Issued checks may be voided.

            updates to electronic OSHA 300/300A/301 reporting, an improved PO/SL review/approval
            workflow, new MFA configuration capabilities, and an introduction of the <span class="keyword">ProjectSight</span> integration with <span class="keyword">Vista</span>, as well as several other features to help
            improve your workflow.</p><p class="p">Another important enhancement brings significant improvements to sign-on methods for
                <span class="keyword">Trimble Construction One</span> cloud-hosted <span class="keyword">Vista</span> customers. These login changes will
            provide customers the ability to migrate their own login credentials to <span class="keyword">Trimble ID</span>. Changes will take place <em class="ph i">after</em>
