Job Dashboard

The Job Dashboard screen offers a variety of job-specific apps showing project management and financial information pertaining to the specified job. Apps available in this screen include:

Open Project Documents

This bar chart shows open documents for each Project Management category, broken out to show 'Overdue', 'Due in next 7 days' and 'Due beyond 7 days'. Hover over the bar chart to show a tooltip with totals for that category. Click on an item in the bar chart to link to the Project Log in context.

Note: This bar chart will only be available if the Project Management module is installed.

Shift

This bar chart shows contract revenue and profit on the job, compared with expectations. Hover over the bar chart to show a tooltip with the original contract/profit amount vs. revised contract/profit amount.

Progress

This bar chart shows percent progress for key job measures (billed-to-date and cost-to-date) compared with expectations. Hover over the bar chart to show a tooltip with the original contract/profit vs. revised contract/profit.

Gain / Fade

This graph shows the impact of profit fade, by analyzing contract revenue and Projected cost over time, delineating 'profit gain' and 'profit fade'. Hover over the Revised contract or Projected cost graphs to show a tooltip with profit amounts at specified dates.

Labor Hours

This bar chart shows the portion of job labor hours that have been completed on the job. Hover over the bar chart to show actual hours completed vs. projected hours at completion.

Equipment Hours

This bar chart shows the portion of job equipment hours that have been completed on the job. Hover over the bar chart to show actual hours completed vs. estimated hours.

Project Log Shortcuts

This app shows a list of shortcuts to the Project Log page in context to the particular job. This app is also accessible from the main dashboard.

By default, this new screen will replace Job Analysis as the primary job page (when accessed from Dashboard Apps and the 'Jobs' screen), although the operator may switch the primary job page in the Preferences window. Click the Preferences button to specify the types of items you'd like to review on this inquiry (open commitments, A/P invoices, and Payroll pre-time cards and time cards in progress), and select which apps you want to see on this screen.
