Write to Support

The quickest way to get support is to write an email with a detailed description of your problem.

Please note that sending a crash report is not the same as contacting support. If you want immediate help, you must contact support as described here.
  1. Draft an email to connect-support@trimble.com.
  2. Provide your client version and server information in one of two ways:
    • Attach the project's workset files. For instructions, see Find the Location of a Workset. This is the preferred method.
    • Include your client version and either the IP address (for example, 111.222.333.444) or the domain name (for example, OurServer.OurCompany.com) in the body of the email. Do not provide vague descriptions like "our external server" or "the same server as last time." For instructions on viewing your client version, see View Your Client Version.
  3. Include the model names and project names related to the issue.
  4. Describe in as much detail as you can the situation where the problem occurred.
  5. If you got an error message, include the first 20 lines of this in your email.
If the error message is a smiley face or simply says this is a crash or "Operation failed," select See details to view the detailed error message.
  6. Send the email.
