Custom Widget Templates
When creating a custom widget you can select from two possible templates, the Link List template, which can provide multiple links, or the Single Action template, which can provide quick access to a web application or a specific web page.
About the Link List Widget Template
The Link List template can be used to display a list of links, and
optionally, a button with an add icon that you can link to a URL. For example, for someone in
an HR role, you could configure links that open to specific Help pages for the
Trimble Viewpoint applications related to HR administration, as shown in the
following image.
Optionally, you can include an add button in the upper right that links to the URL of your choice. For example, if you use Standard Dashboards in Trimble Construction One Analytics, you could configure the add button to open the Standard Dashboards link in Analytics where you can create a new report.
About the Single Action Widget Template
The Single Action template can be used to create a widget that provides quick access to a web application or a specific page within a web application. For example, if you use SketchUp for Web, you could configure the button in the Single Action template to open that application, as shown in the following image.
